Spitting Barrels grew out of my wave paintings and illustrations. A surf line built from an artist’s hand.

to what you wear.
I’m Joshua Webb, a Los Angeles artist working across graffiti, murals, painting and illustration. Spitting Barrels brings those worlds together through the energy of a breaking wave.
The drawings came first: expressive barrels, suns tucked into the break, palms, tiki faces and a snake that spits like a wave. Each design has room to become a painting, a wall, a tee or a cap.
The spirit is Southern California: playful, independent and full of color. The aim is to keep that original hand visible as the collection grows.
